To the Chelsea Family,
I am overcome with emotion and thankfulness for all that this amazing club has meant to me as I take a moment to think back on my journey. I understood the moment I joined Chelsea FC Women that I was entering a unique club that was based on togetherness, passion, and ambition. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to this remarkable chapter in my life.
Thank you to WSL Chelsea for having faith in me and for fostering an atmosphere that allowed me to develop both personally and as a goalie. One of the biggest privileges of my career has been wearing the Chelsea badge. I always felt the weight and pride of playing for a team that is known for its heart, tenacity, and excellence. I will always be thankful that you allowed me the freedom to push myself, fail, grow, and get back up.
My inspiration and motivation have come from the fans. Your applause during victories, your chants reverberating throughout Kingsmeadow, and your unshakable faith throughout each save have meant the world to me. You’ve given me a sense of belonging to a family that is bigger than football, one that rejoices in every triumph and perseveres through every hardship. I shall always remember the sound of you singing “Blue is the Colour,” no matter where my journey takes me.
I want to express my gratitude to my coaches and teammates for pushing me to new heights. You’ve taught me the value of trust, selflessness, and common goals in true teamwork. Every practice, late-night bus travel, and game has taught us the value of commitment and passion for the sport. Sharing the field with you has been a privilege I will always cherish, and I’ve been surrounded by some of the most gifted and inspirational women in football.
We are grateful to the Chelsea community for fostering an inspiring, empowering, and upbeat club culture. Chelsea is about people who share the same dream: players, staff, and supporters. It’s not only about trophies.
I take Chelsea with me into the future, along with the lessons learned, the experiences, and the blue pride that pulses through my veins. I will always be grateful to this club for molding me in ways that words cannot express.
